Our course provides you with an important insight into how young people are typically engaging with the online world. Understanding the different risks that children might experience online will help you to feel confident, supportive and empowered to help keep your children safe. In our course you’ll learn about topics like how children use the internet and technology; the risks children may encounter online; harmful content online; passwords sharing personal content and sexting; bullying, trolling, grooming and more.
The online world brings many positives and possibilities. We also look at the benefits of the digital world, advise on how to communicate and discuss the positives and negatives of the online world in a healthy, productive and constructive way.
