At Digilearning we believe Edtech can change the world. We are currently in the early years of a digital revolution. We are creating new platforms and consuming information never seen by human kind and we seem to be doing it blind. No one has figured out what’s right and wrong, the clear benefits and the huge negatives We are starting to understand the power of technology and it’s huge faults.
Human kind needs to understand the dangers and in particular our governments who seem to have little education themselves as to how this digital landscape is developing and the way we can harness it for the better of human kind.
Digital platforms are being created at a super fasts pace and the governments who are governing these companies have little or no understanding at the way in which rules need to be created or young minds need to be educated.
Our societies are spending massive amounts of time and are in no way reaping the benefits of how digital can benefit their lives. Digital is not just about playing your favourite games, taking selves or sharing the latest story you feel passionate about. It’s about how the digital landscape can clearly help individuals learn what ever they want to do in the world, travel to places unseen, view landscapes you never would have had the chance to observe.
We have to start thinking about the massive benefits digital has to offer. We can literally become experts in any fields. There is a massive array of learning resources online where before you would need to go and study places or institute all over the world. Now this information is at our fingertips and we must learn to harness it.
At Digilearning we believe it’s vital we start at the root of the learning process. Our young children are spending hours and hours everyday on these little devices with little guidance on how to use digital to help excel the kind.
We want to aim to educate all children around the world from diverse backgrounds starting in the United Kingdom following on with key places. We need to work together to make this happen and are working with leading brands to have a significant impact.
Our first focus is our books we have over 15 titles ranging from how to code, keeping safe online alongside the basics like blockchain, crating a video and so much more. We also have our Digihack days where we will hold digital camps at schools split into 2 key area. One part will be getting young minds to understand the digital landscape and the second part will be for the young people to be set a task and create a physical product. Our third area will be our app which will enable young people to learn about digital in a fun way that is relatable using augmented reality and combing the physical world as well as our books.
